Hospice at Home
Luminous Hospice Care, Inc. covers all prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, medical equipment and supplies required to treat the patient’s life limiting illness.
Hospice staff will be responsible for regular, scheduled visits to a patient’s place of residence to adequately manage symptoms and meet the needs of the patient and family.
Short-term crisis management is provided in the patient’s place of residence. Most often it is initiated when death is forthcoming and the primary caregiver is unable to cope. Luminous Hospice Care can provide shifts of hospice staff for a brief period to help the patient, rather than transferring the patient to a hospital.
Intended to provide short-term relief for the primary caregiver, the patient can stay at one of our contracted facilities for a period of up to five days. Room and board are covered.
